Central Excise Chennai I Commissionerate Jurisdiction

            Consequent to the Cadre-Restructuring and Re-organisation of the existing of th existing Central Excise            

            Commissionerates and in terms of Notification No.27/2014-Central Excise (N.T.) dated 16.09.2014 issued

            from Board's F.No.96/42/2014-CX.I, the jurisdiction of Chennai I Commissionerate has been revised.

             Jurisdiction of Chennai-I Commissionerate:

       (i)       Areas comprising  Chennai Corporation Zone Nos. I to V.

      (ii)       Ponneri, Gummidipoondi Uthukottai, Thiruvallur Poonamallee and Thiruvotriyur Taluks

                 (not elsewhere covered) of Thiruvallur District of the State of Tamil Nadu.

      (iii)     The Maritime Commissioner’s work having the export jurisdiction in Chennai city through Sea Port, 

                 Post Office of  Air Port and Export located in Chennai.

      (iv)     The following Divisions have been ordered to function within the jurisdiction of Chennai I
    Central Excise Commissionerate.

                           (a)  A Division    (b)  B Division     (c)  C Division     (d)  D Division     (e)  E Division
